electric cost

I have a 30 amp rv and have never stayed at a rv park that charged for electric. So how much will I be paying?
  • I have RV Sites that I rent out in Yuma and charge 14 cents KW. Some renters use less than others and get by for say $35.00 and others might be $80.00 for the same month. I would say on average my renters pay about $50.00 month. This is for my 9 renters. Most of the RV Parks in Yuma charge 16 to 19 cents a KW and nearly all private owners charge extra for elect
  • I've never ever had metered electricity. Have heard of it, but pretty rare. Usually for long term tenants I think.

    How much do they charger per KWH?

    The absolute maximum would be 86 KWH per day, but that is a highly unlikely number. 80% of that would still be pretty darn high.

    October 15, 2015 I used 20 KWH which included running the fridge, space heating, cooking and water heating.

  • Not every RV Park charges for electric. If the park has metered service, ask the front desk how much $ per Kwh - or ask them what the typical metered billing costs residents.
