Electric extension cord - what kind?
Hi, Does anybody knows what kind of extension cord I should buy (I found one in Lowes: Basic Connections 100-ft 10-Amp 16-Gauge Orange Outdoor Extension Cord for $17, but I am not sure about the amper...

If you are just going to run the 12v converter and charge the battery in the trailer a 16-gauge would be just fine.

But like everyone else says if microwave OR A/C are going to be run, the bare MINIMUM would be a 10-Gauge (20amp), you could potentially need up to 6-gauge if you have a large RV with lots of goodies.
