On My Montego Bay, I had that exact same issue.. I placed an elbow on that drain pipe and ran a short run towards the side of the camper.. at that point, I placed another elbow downward. I put a short piece followed by a ball valve facing down.. No more laying down, and Army crawling under the camper to drain the tank....
