My Ultra-Fab 4000 power tongue jack has a drop foot so I get an extra 6-7 inches or so of drop. I use it like you would fifth wheel jacks. When I parki just drop the foot to the ground and repin it there. After that it takes very little effort to unhitch.
Ill never be without a power tongue jack if I can help it!!
They are loud but that is just their MO.
Best tip I have got is to let the motor compleatly stop before you start again or you change direction.
So with all that said. Get you a drop foot of some kind, test the battery, and enjoy the no sweat way of unhitchig!!
