Electric jack wiring

So I purchased a new electric jack and the wire is not long enough to reach my battery box (long story) so I went to solder a piece of 10 gauge wire to it and when I stripped the existing wire it appears to be aluminum. The wire I have to make it longer is copper. Do they make a connector for this or do I need to purchase some aluminum wire or just re wire the whole thing with copper?

I guess it might be stainless maybe but it is not copper I can tell you that. :)

Also meant to say that it is an Ultra Fab 3500-7 jack.
