Our last trailer I put the Atwood 4K lb Robofoot jack on. Ordered from Etrailer for about $250 I think it was. Reason I went for the 4K vs the 3K model was the 4K has better internals, ball screw drive.
I never actually used the foot, but was very happy with the jack. As mentioned, the design gives more tailgate clearance as well.
