Yes, you should have a manual crank attachment for it! Otherwise just connect the 7-way to the truck and use it all you want!
Having said that, it's time to find out why the battery went dead! Mine would go dead a few times after a month of sitting. I installed a very small solar charger that would trickle charger the battery. Haven't had a dead battery in years!
