I have a 4500 lbs Husky on my toy hauler and it's not noisy at all, way less then an engine idling. The jack is way slower than any crank jack I have ever used. Only reason I put one on the toy hauler is the thing is so tongue heavy that it took 2 hands to crank the jack and I got tired of getting my workout messing with it. The 4500 lbs jack has no problems lifting the trailer and the back of the truck up. My tailgate wouldn't open with the crank jack so it didn't matter to me either way.
