I'm not an electrician, but I have done some home wiring (and also passed code first time), but I don't mess with the breaker box. I do hire a certified electrician for the "final hook-up". But... the OP said:
"I think I'm only putting in two breakers both 15amp 110v. One will be dedicated to the 60amp converter. Does the converter require more than a 15amp circuit? The other will be for 4 plugs. I think this is enough."
Correct me if I'm wrong ... that's OK... but ... you're installing a 60 amp converter, coming off with two lines 15 amp each. The output max will be 30 amp. Will the converter run correctly if it's receiving anything less than 60 amps from the electric source. Campgrounds have electric in either 30 or 50 amp service. Just wondering how a 60 amp converter would work.
Second, if you are planning on putting in an air-conditioner, you need to consider how much the air conditioner amps draw. Mine is pretty hefty. If I run the air conditioner in my Outback and plug in an electric skillet, my main breaker blows(I'm 30 amp). I can run the microwave, but not an electric skillet with the air conditioner running.
You might want to run a separate line just for the air conditioner.
Also, if you are plugged into a 30 amp service and your converter is 60 amp, and you exceed the 30 (15 and 15), your converter will not trip, you will trip the breaker at the campground pole. Just something to think about.
Sounds like an interesting project. I wish you good luck with it. Post photos of the work in process. Everyone enjoys photos!
