Electrical Plug Inside the pickup box
When towing a 5th wheel is it advisable to install the electrical plug inside the box? I have a factory tailgate. The hitch installer said he has not installed a plug inside the box in the last 5 year...

I prefer to reach over the side of the bed and plug in after hook up without getting into cramped quarters. I put mine just in front of the fender well. Bargman makes a plug and play hook up into the factory harness for the Ford. Don't know about other brands.
