Electrical Plug Inside the pickup box
When towing a 5th wheel is it advisable to install the electrical plug inside the box? I have a factory tailgate. The hitch installer said he has not installed a plug inside the box in the last 5 year...

In the ownership of 4 different Ram duallys, the 14 is the only one that has/had the plug in the bed. I have had no issues plugging into the bumper connection in over 10 years of doing so.
