Electrical Plug Inside the pickup box
When towing a 5th wheel is it advisable to install the electrical plug inside the box? I have a factory tailgate. The hitch installer said he has not installed a plug inside the box in the last 5 year...

I'd considered it at one time then realized I'd have to lower the tailgate to reach the plug and lost interest in the project.
I never have to lower my 5th wheel tailgate to plug unto the bed, Mine is in the left rear corner of the bed and plug in all the time with the tailgate up.
