So how hard is it to change? Do I need special tools. If I take a picture prior to disassembling and follow it, will it be alright? Is there a better quality one are they all about the same?
Changing out a GFI outlet is no different than replacing any residential 110v outlet in your home. All you need is a screwdriver and possibly a needle nose pliers.
Remember to unplug your camper from the 110v power source.
