We are environmentally conservative so do our best not to waste water or electricity. Even with full hook ups (which is rare) we turn on the water heater maybe twice per day for long enough to heat a tank of water if we need it. We try not to use the a/c but if we are where it is hot, we run it when we are inside. Otherwise, we open the windows and turn on the ceiling vent fan to keep fresh air moving through. Since we move with the weather, we tend to avoid the worst of the heat. We have gotten so used to it being warm that setting the thermostat below 76 degrees freezes us out anyway.
