I have a crank up and the smaller Carryout. I don't touch the crank up any longer and I didn't bother mounting the portable. If I want it up high i climb the ladder and put it on the roof. If i need to get around a tree I just put it where it gets a signal. Dome is small so I place it on the dinette seat when we are ready to move. Total setup time on average is probably 2 minutes, if I have to untangle the cable. I've only had one instance where I couldn't get a signal. Had I ran out and bought 100ft of RG6 it would have been a non issue.
