End of TC era for Dakonthemountain
Hello All,
I have been remiss in writing for some time here as our lives have changed in many, many ways during the last few years. Life is funny that way! During this time I went from a TC to a trailer, then back to a TC (my MOST favorite one ever!!) and now it has been decided that the climb to the bed can no longer work for my other half and last month I sold my most beloved Silverado dually, Calvin, and the Lance 1055 TC after purchasing a new truck and 23' trailer.. We took our first trip throughout the southwest (2,450 miles total) and I must say it was wonderful.... so it is our future and one I am happy go to now. For adventures, since I purchased a 4x4 truck, we can leave the trailer in a park/campground, etc., and take off to explore at will; or even camp in the back or with a tent if we so desire.
This is all to say thank you all here for the many years of advice, friendly banter, personal opinions (wanted or not! ;), magical adventures you have shared with me and for being a great bunch of folks I knew I could always get a straight answer from.
Wish me luck in this new phase of our life. I'm now the proud owner of a 2018 GMC Sierra Denali 4x4 and a new EVO 23' dual slide travel trailer. I'll be changing my signature soon...
All best to you in your continued adventures; and I'll be watching and reading!
