engine oil level
I have an '03 Ford with the 6.0 diesel. At oil change time the level is higher than it should be. The dipstick is not milky like there is water or coolant getting in. Can this be fuel getting in someh...

That's one reason I change my own oil. When the truck was new I had Walmart do the change as I watched. The employee proceeded to add a 13th quart of oil whereas my truck uses 12 quarts. If I hadn't stopped him the oil would have been overfilled.
BTW, When allowable I always watch the mechanic whenever my truck is worked on for any reason.
Even if they added 12 quarts it would still be about one quart over filled.
I let mine drain overnight and add a touch over 11.5 quarts and after running it and it sitting overnight on a level surface it is right on full. Look at the bottom of the pan design it can't drain it all out.
