To my point that I make on here and reddogs post above......with experience and skill, sizing a tow rig or actually pulling a trailer is not magic and a lot of the finite element analysis, lol and weighing every graham cracker stuck in the kids car seat seems overkill to some of us, but the lack of formal training means for the avg Joe who does not pull, haul, or otherwise work with or is interested in vehicles or equipment is the reason for a good part of the "accessories" market in the RV towing industry.

Regarding the TTs, doubt the F150 was a hotshot rig. Usually I see TCs hauled 2-3 at a time. One in the back of a dually and a trailer with a couple more strapped onto it.
