I think most people overestimate how many "experts" and "engineers" work in the RV industry. Actually in any industry. For this subject, does anyone know of training available for hauling or towing TCs or TTs? Where does one learn those skills? Where do you and I go to learn how to do the proper rigging? I'm not posting this to challenge or question anyone, but just a couple of thoughts to ponder.
If you watch several Youtube videos on mechanical stuff, and you have a strong mechanical background, you will shake your head in amazement. There is some good info, but the safety is very scary. It would be the same with hauling or towing TCs or TTs.

In my humble opinion as a Retired safety and compliance officer for a commercial carrier, anyone who pulls a travel trailer should qualify with a written exam AND complete a road course (and pass) that includes backing up. No pass, No endorsement No drive. Problem solved.
