Equalizer hitch. where do you store when not in use?

When at home, the hitch goes on the floor in the garage. If we are camping several times in close promiximity, I just leave the hitch on the truck so I don't have to move it around (it's heavy, rusty and greasy). Also when at home, the bars and clamps get stored in the front storage compartment of the TT. At the campsite, I just place them on the ground near the tongue. I make sure all the clamps and clips are attached so I don't lose any cotter pins.
