Equalizer hitch. where do you store when not in use?

I left the hitch in the receiver one time... Left a bruise and skinned shines on both legs the two different times I walked behind my truck... Yes, I know it was my own fault, but when it's not there, I don't hit it! :)

That's just me however... ;)
