Hmmmm I worked into our TT purchase a 1.2K/12K Equal-i-zer Hitch INSTALLED for $240 and they even took apart and used my old extended drawbar, gave me the new drawbar from the new hitch and switched out and mounted my old electric jack on my new trailer all for that $240. I always recommend folks work into the deal at the end such things as the WDH system, upgraded tongue jack and slide out awnings to "CLOSE THE DEAL". Doing it that way you can often get those at close to dealer cost and not pay for installation. Afterall the dealer's not loosing any $$$ and usually their employees are salaried anyway so you are the one saving the BIG BUCKS.
Of course trying to negotiate something after the TT deal is closed looses all the leverage the buyer has if they make the purchase of the TT contingent on getting the add-ons I mentioned at a DEEPLY DISCOUNTED PRICE.
