ever clean and shine your tool box
Getting ready to re install my " old " tool box on my new F150. Thought I would clean and shine it up first. Anyone ever do this? It is a aluminum box I think with the waffle like metal plating finish...

I used the al or chrome polish on mine, as you it moves from one truck tot he next.
but, boy o boy it was slow and a lot of work, rubbing then got one of those drill units, still that black crud just did not want to come off.
I wound up cleaning the sides and back and top around the edges.
do not remember if I ever finished the center top as no one sees it.
then waxed it good, it looked good for a while, but I am not into show and go.
just start and run well is all I need.
