ever clean and shine your tool box
Getting ready to re install my " old " tool box on my new F150. Thought I would clean and shine it up first. Anyone ever do this? It is a aluminum box I think with the waffle like metal plating finish...

Try washing it with TSP (Tri Sodium Phosphate) first. Available about any place that sells paint.
I did the roof of my old TT with it and what a difference. I used the powder and put about a cup in about 3 1/2 gals of water. used a soft brush and rinsed it a lot.
