everyone, i need help with a truck/truck camper questions.

I'm upgrading a truck.and i've been looking at a 2015 f150 2.7l v6 eco boost engine.
i've seen good and bad reviews on them, but does anyone have a truck camper with this truck ? or ecoboost style engine ?

I'm looking to get a palomino truck camper, ranging from 1400-1600 for weight.
and looking to have it on an f150.

does anyone have input on what fuel economy is like with this truck ?

or do you suggest another style truck/brand for hauling a truck camper around.

from june to oct. it'll be a truck camper truck and be on full time. other wise the camper will be off and i'll be using it as an every day truck.

please help me if anyone has this truck.

    That northstar a couple posts below looks interesting. I have no first hand knowledge but it sems palominos don't have thr best rep.

    yeah that is true. ideally i know of the camper style i wanted, which the specs would apparently fit with the f150 box. but i was only recently considering a 2500 cummins.

    just think the f150 would be more idea...sure the camper will be on for the summer, but after that mostly it'll be parked and the half ton would be easier around the city. other wise, i get a diesel and the camper could potentially just stay on it all year around.haha

    IMO, you limit yourself too much with a 150, just step up to the 350 and you'll have a lot more options for campers. check the prices the HD truck isn't really that much more.
