Just as title says - Bunk above compartment that houses the outdoor kitchen in our 280QBS is excessively hot. Warm to the touch. Heat is coming in from outside, obviously.. Warranty fix, or "mod"? ...

Try laying some reflectix (aluminized bubble wrap) under your mattress. If it works, you might be able to line your bunk area with it.
Lining the bunk side instead of the kitchen side adds that degree of safety in that the heat from the fridge should not be a fire concern to anything on the bunk side.
