My V10 X dies sometimes upon an abrupt stop, or right after shifting into reverse. It doesn't do it every time, but a couple of times a day. It doesn't die when slowly decelerating up to a stop light...

What about one of those multitude of safety sensors?
Specifically one that turns off the flow of fuel in the event of a crash impact. Maybe one of those is malfunctioning and now has a "hair trigger"
