Excursion dies upon abrupt stop.
My V10 X dies sometimes upon an abrupt stop, or right after shifting into reverse. It doesn't do it every time, but a couple of times a day. It doesn't die when slowly decelerating up to a stop light...

Not sure if the OPs v10 has the idle speed valve. My 4.6 from the same family does not IAC, all rpm control is in PCM. Clean the throttle body.
