Expect a 25% off MSRP?

I certainly hope no one ever pays list price for an RV! 25% off MSRP is about normal. even for a popular model.

That may be true regarding ordering from the manufacturer, but we ordered a 2010 Keystone Bullet 250RKS in February at an RV show.

We were promised that our trailer would be ready in mid-April. When the dealer kept checking after that date, Keystone had finished the 2010 production run and would be substituting a 2011 instead. Keystone absorbed the cost difference in the newer model. We didn't get it until mid-May, and that's only because the dealer drove to Indiana and picked it up.

We will continue to deal with him, because they've always done the right thing for us.

I have found when ordering a RV the dealer has very little overhead in it and can make a better deal.

Go online and do your research. My dealer beat every price I could find online. I'm sure my willingness to fly up to 1000 miles, pick it up and drive it home played into his decision to adjust the price.

A lot will depend on how skilled of a negotiator you are and how bad the dealer wants to move a item. Also, once he knows you "have to have that one," he has you hooked and therefor not be as willing to come down very much. Do your homework and find what others are selling that model for. The more facts you have yhe better equipped you are
