That may be true regarding ordering from the manufacturer, but we ordered a 2010 Keystone Bullet 250RKS in February at an RV show.
We were promised that our trailer would be ready in mid-April. When the dealer kept checking after that date, Keystone had finished the 2010 production run and would be substituting a 2011 instead. Keystone absorbed the cost difference in the newer model. We didn't get it until mid-May, and that's only because the dealer drove to Indiana and picked it up.
We will continue to deal with him, because they've always done the right thing for us.
