Extended Mirrors For 1/2 ton
Getting ready to purchase new 1/2 ton truck, do I need to get a truck with the extended mirrors like used with the 3/4 ton trucks for a 30 TT?

I don't have extended mirrors, have used and abandoned clip on mirrors. Would I like extending mirrors,yes, am I satisfied with standard mirrors, YES. With mirrors set to see vehicles from rear to 180 L&R I have not had problems, the TV width + mirror extension is enough to give effective view. If you set mirrors to view TV sides YRMV. Been working for the last 15000 miles not looking to change.
