Your initial factory warranty will cover the first year, when most problems would surface. Look at the cost of the extended warranty vs the most expensive COVERED repair. Chances of 2 major repairs in the extended warranty period are probably very slim.
How many hoops do you have to jump through to get work done and paid for?
Do you have to have an annual inspection and service $$$ done at a certain dealer? If you miss it, is the warranty invalid, even if the part would not have been included in the required inspection.
My opinion (and others in previous forums), keep your money in your bank and only take it out IF something breaks.
