Extended Vehicle Warranty?

I work with extended warranty companies on a daily basis as an inspector. Been in the auto repair business my whole life. There are some decent after market extended warranties but there are way to many bad companies. If I owned a diesel truck I would buy an extended warranty. But the only warranty I would buy would be an OEM contract. Even if it is a Ford contract on A GM or a Chrysler on a Ford. The OEM contacts look for a reason to pay, instead of the aftermarket looking for a reason not to pay. I do inspections for all of them OEM and aftermarket, but the OEM'S go above and beyond what is necessary most often. Not so with the aftermarket. My advice don't buy it. I even do inspections on Rv's and motor homes.
