I've never forked out for extended warranties and have been lucky so far. My father on the hand did, for the first time, with his new Rockwood fiver and has gotten his moneys worth and then some. What a lemon.

You're getting a travel trailer which doesn't have any of the large ticket items like an engine, transmission or rear end. Unless it's very cheap and it gives you peace of mind, you should be able to cover any expenses out of pocket. Probably the most expensive item in it is the refer?
