Extended Warranties are big money makers for the sellers. Odds are VERY STRONG, you will not recoup your premium in claims.
That being said, it's insurance. Like any other insurance, it's a matter of what you are comfortable with. Will a major breakdown cause you serious financial harm, to the point where your truck may sit un-usable in the driveway?
