Extended Warranty

From my own experience I've purchased two warranties in the past. I have one on my truck that has just about paid for itself, and had one on a Honda Odyssey that was never used. Honda gave the money back at the end of the accrued mileage since I never filed a claim on it. I got that in writing when it was purchased. Domestic manufactures don't offer money back (that I'm aware of) if you don't file a claim. The bottom line is if you can afford to pay for repairs I wouldn't buy it, but if not it could be money well spent.
