Extended Warranty

I've come out ahead on every extended warranty I've ever bought. Doesn't work if you only keep vehicles a short time. I keep my vehicles over 5 years, 100K miles. I also never pay anywhere near full retail price for an extended warranty. Often can cut the price down by 30-50% of what the dealerships asking price is. Always get manufactures warranty and never a 3rd party. In the end it depends on the vehicle, how long you'll own it and what you pay for the warranty.
