Exterior/Interior coatings on new travel trailers
When purchasing a new travel trailer dealerships often promote a surface preservation package to keep the unit looking nicer (prevent fading, staining, etc.) Can cost over $1000. Is it worth it?

When we bought ours, we got a great deal on our rig, so I decided to get the product. 5 year guarantee. After 3 years, the gray fiberglass was oxidizing. I sent them pics and they sent their guy out to my house. Looked like brand new when he reapplied it. Now after the 4th year, oxidation is coming back on the rear which faces south in storage,so I will call them again. But one thing is, the decals really held up well. Never faded, no cracking. When the 5 years are up, I will try the Poly Coat(?), but I'm very happy with how the decals are doing.
