Exterior/Interior coatings on new travel trailers
When purchasing a new travel trailer dealerships often promote a surface preservation package to keep the unit looking nicer (prevent fading, staining, etc.) Can cost over $1000. Is it worth it?

To you, no, it's not worth it.
It's another huge profit center for dealers, even more so than than extended warranties are.
