Thanks westend, that's exactly what I was wanting to know. The built in stereo in our TT doesn't have a aux in plug in the front but does have an aux setting so I figure the input is in the rear.

I don't think the OP means speakers outside the camper, just external to the TV so he can set one close to his chair inside inorder to hear the TV better without having the volume so high. I think a wireless speaker would work just fine and not be very expensive at all.

I do boondock mostly but, still don't want to disturb others. That said, the headphones wont work either unless it's 2 sets for me and my other half. The reason for the external speakers is to move them closer to where we sit so I don't have to turn it up so loud. My days of loud music are long past.
