- bmj11ExplorerI have a Lance 1575 and work well. Should go to Lance owner of America to see all owner who use a 3500 lbs TV to pull it
Lance Owners of America - tibbittsExplorerThe OP really needs to provide details on the TV. Wind resistance and tongue weight transferred to the TV are both often at least as important as the gross weight of a trailer. Towing something like an aerodynamic boat at highway speeds is nothing like towing a traditional box-type travel trailer.
- DarthMuffinExplorerWe have a Chalet Takena 2265, slide out and just under 3500 lb.
With that weight limit you would probably be better off with http://www.chaletrv.com/travel-trailers/18b though, or even a popup tent or a-frame trailer. - ryanw821Explorer

I don't think its going to happen with a slide out.
You might find some pretty spacious hybrids (fold out bunk ends) well below that weight range though.
Though if your vehicles tow rating is only 3500lbs, you REALLY don't want to be towing 3500lbs.
You need to factor in A LOT more than tow ratings, our vehicle has a 5000lb tow rating, but our 3500lb camper (loaded) is the MAX we can handle when you factor in tongue weights and vehicle carrying capacity.
Yes, we tow with our Jeep Libery Diesel, it has a tow rating of 5000lbs, but with tongue weights and carrying capacity, 3500lbs is about its limits with an average travel trailer. So if your vehicle is only rated for 3500lbs, you might be limited to a pop-up trailer.
We really need more info about your vehicle before we can give better advice on what you can tow. - Camper_2012Explorer

Same slide used in their larger trailers and truck campers. GVWR 3500 lbs. Nicely optioned with AC, power awning, microwave, 24" TV, the dry weight is about 2800 lbs.
Bruce - rexlionExplorerSlideouts add a lot of weight. If all you can tow is 3500, you probably would benefit greatly from having a rounded, aero trailer like Scamp, Casita, or similar.
- Francesca_KnowlExplorerI hope the O.P. didn't misunderstand my earlier post- not sayin' a standup trailer under 3500 pounds is impossible- it's the desire for a slide that kills the idea.
3500 pounds of tow capacity doesn't automatically limit one's choices to folding/ popup trailers. Certain of the slideless Camplites would be doable, as would be many of the smaller molded fiberglass units like Scamp etc.
