I filled up at a Mobil station last week, with the branding on the pump. Cost was 3.39 a gallon. Same as three stations in the area (Detroit Metro) that I passed that day. 8 cents a gallon cheaper than the other 2.
I'd really like to know what region those seeing 2.70 and 2.80 a gallon are in. In my home market (Lansing MI) we lowest I have seen on the last year was 2.99, and we average 3.09 and 3.19, and the prices rarely move.
Don’t forget we have one of the highest fuel tax rates
