With dealers giving $10-$15k off new trucks I wouldn't think about paying $60k for a used truck.
I believe the GVW on the new 450 is about the same as a 350.
You could get a new Ram 3500 drw 4x4 with Aisin trans and HO motor nicely optioned with the Tradesman package for around $50k.
Ram has a 14k GVW and with 4:10 gears, it's rated to tow 29k lbs. And as others have mentioned, no insurance issues.
