Very true. Lots of guys get the after market running boards that extend to the front of the wheel well.
I know without the pin squat it is a reach to grab the handle of the hitch and that's at 6'1 with 35" arms. Actually the Ford's are growing on me. I assume you can see more also in the mirrors.
Just make one of these. It will keep you from going to the dark side.;)
