EZ Lift WDH Parts

Howdy all. Just got back from a long trip and noticed I'd lost one of the pins that keeps the chains locked in place. Anyone know where I can get a new one? I've tried all the normal shops that sell them. They don't carry parts. Tried Camco, they don't list them in replacement parts.

The next question would be if normal cotter pins would be a sufficient replacement? I'd like the design of a cotter pin better, but wonder if they didn't use them for a reason. They use cotter pins everywhere else.

Not sure how I lost it. I know it was in, as I'm in a habit of checking these things every stop. I can narrow it down to the last 400+ miles of the trip. Small chance it was stolen when parked next to several others outside a Walmart during that last 400 miles. I always check right after parking. Guess I'll add checking right before leaving again too.

This is the best picture I could find on the net

Camping world carries a variety of this pins

  • No dealerships within 100 miles of me. But I'll be passing by one Friday. I'll try that. Thanks
  • Have you tried checking any RV dealerships (parts store). When I had my Reese WDH system, I picked up a couple extra of these in the event I lost one. Never had to use the extras. Although I am using a different WDH system now, I still have them in my box. You never know when a fellow camper may loose one and you can rescue them! (I wonder if anyone ever looses these? ;) )
