F-150 Diesel

Has anyone on here got one of the new F-150 Powerstrokes and if so, what are you towing, and your thoughts on it?

  • It should be great for towing 1/2 ton appropriate TTs IE in my experience 8,000 pounds and less. My 3.0 liter turbo diesel Ram averages 15.0 mpg towing double axle Airstream TTs when not exceeding 65 mph.

I agree that Ford's overpriced. You can buy a brand new 2018 Ram Ecodiesel 4 door 4WD out the door for less than 40k.
  • It is built to bring the fleet fuel enomy numbers up, not for towing.
  • My question would be. Why pay more for less. Les power, less towing, less payload.
  • Since no one has answered, this site has some specifics: Linky

Looks very capable with great fuel efficiency but is hampered by lower payload than the gas alternatives.
