The newer F150s have a thermostatic valve on the side of the trans but if that was stuck I don't think you'd make it very far before the trans exploded. I work at a Ford dealership that if I put that many parts on a vehicle and you took it home and had a problem on a trip not only would they get on it right away they would burn me at the stake after making me fix it for free. Definitely not exceptable.
