My point exactly....but to be more specific....if they do NOT have temp sensors inside the radiator, or on the out put, or at the ATF in and out of the radiator, or any other potential cause...not much different than current diag port readings...
They need to read temp DIFFERENTIALS between in/out's of the ATF flow lines
If the differentials are low...then "that" line is not getting cooled (rejecting heat)....or the amounts of heat is greater than the radiator can handle...pointing to possible blocked radiator liquid flow and/or air flow
Meaning...if it is going in at 270*F and coming out at something like 220*F...there is only 50*F headroom...where it should be something like 180*F...
Again, if just onboard computer info...it will just tell it is too hot...
