Think I forgot to mention that the code generated on my last "Trans Fault" warning during the last trip, turned out to be a different code than the previous code. New code is P1783 ATF overtemp, and is apparently triggered when temp is 270 and higher. Previous code was something about TC lockup solenoid, forget the code, don't have it right in front of me. So, not sure what the new code means and how it relates to the problem as a whole, but a search reveiled probable causes as harness broken, bad connection or bad sensor, as well as clogged lines or bypass valve. Not sure if they tested the senor in question to rule that out, but I will be asking.
