Around here you can get a Ram 2500 6.4 for about $32k or a CTD for $37-38k. Those are Tradesman level trucks but with all the basic options. I haven't been able to find an HD F150 on a lot anywhere for much less than the CTD Ram, which in my mind sort of makes the HD F150 somewhat pointless. I guess it may save a few bucks a year on fuel, but that's not very material relative to a $35k-ish purchase.
